Designer Marble Colors are Simply Better !   img7.gif (4491 bytes)

Better Dispersion

If you are a manufacturer, then you know that large raw untreated pigment particles can cause "flairs" and color streaks in your finished parts. You can't afford to continually repair parts because they come out of the mold full of "color flairs".  To prevent this, all of  our colors are mechanically ground down to a "cosmetic grade" particle size to assure complete dispersion in your finished parts. They are then dried and receive a special "hydrophobic" surface treatment designed to repel any future moisture they may come into contact with. (Absorbed moisture can contribute heavily to pigment agglomerates in your mix.)

Lower Cost

You get what you pay for, and using the best can actually cost you less in the long run. One of the differences between us and our competitors is in how we determine our selling prices. BroComs selling prices are determined by our raw material costs and there are two simple reasons why this pricing method benefits marble shops.

1.   Marble manufacturers use light colors as background or "base colors" and buy light colors in larger quantities.

2.  Marble manufacturers use dark colors for veining or accent colors and as a result buy "dark" colors in smaller quantities.

It's a fact that due to the cost of the raw pigments used, light pastel colors almost always cost us less to produce than dark pure colors, and that's true with any color producer.  As a marble manufacturer, if you are being asked to pay the same price for all colors, are you paying too much for the light colors, or too little for the dark colors?  In other words, if a light popular color like Bone actually has a lower raw material cost, why do some color suppliers sell it for the same price as Carnation Red or Colonial Blue?  This type of thing doesn't happen with Designer Marble Colors because when our raw material costs are lower, so is our selling price !
