BroCom's "Beta" Color Matching Program

( NOTE: Beta test program officially begins after

the 1999 I.C.P.A. Tradeshow in Nashville on February 17th. )

We are testing our own Windows 95/98 application and hope to eventually be able to offer it to everyone as a quick, simple, and hopefully effective alternate method to communicate your color needs to us electronically. Because industry color standards have not yet been set for these type applications the end results can not be guaranteed 100% at this time, but this is something we are working hard to overcome. We are hopeful that the results of these color tests will soon allow us to communicate visual color data with customers in all fifty states and around the world, making accurate color selection almost instantaneous. In any event, please understand that your participation in this test program is entirely voluntary and that you if you download our program you will be participating in a "beta" trial program in it's initial testing phase. Actual color results may vary widely depending on your individual computer equipment, which is one of the things we are trying to determine. Realizing all that, if you are looking for a custom color you can use our BroCom Color Selection Software to find that color yourself from over sixteen million (16,000,000) possible color combinations. Download and install the program on your own desk top computer, and then simply move the three sliders until you see the color you want on the screen. Make a note of the "red" "green" and "blue" numbers and call us (or e-mail us) with those numbers. We can then use the Red Green and Blue values to produce a custom dry pigment formula that should give you that color in Cultured Marble.

Below is a simple java program which illustrates the principle involved.

It's just that simple....

NOTE: Some very light pastel colors may not reproduce perfectly in dry pigments. Your products end color will still be very very close to what you select "on-screen" however. Also, for technical reasons beyond description in this web page some of the more brilliant and intense colors simply cannot be reproduced in Cultured Marble, due to the nature of the end product.
